2026 Top 100 DL Deuce Geralds is feeling great about a few schools - On3

High 4-star Georgia D-tackle will soon return to Ohio State

Ohio State adds top-10 QB, RB to its spring guest list

The Buckeyes are gearing up for a busy spring of hosting top recruits.

A solid week thus far for Ohio State football recruiting, the Buckeyes saw in-state offensive lineman Maxwell Riley join the 2026 cycle with a commitment. One down and more to go on the offensive line, maybe the best part of this latest commitment is seeing newly named position coach Tyler Bowen have early success.

At any rate, the Buckeyes are looking for the spring football season and early summer weeks to be major recruiting opportunities for the 2026 class and beyond. With plenty of top talent from all over the country set to be in Columbus in the near future, Ohio State will have plenty of shots to show off their national championship rings and carry that into recruiting momentum to further build their future roster.

2026 quarterback prospect locks in Ohio State visit

With 2025 being wrapped up at the position and 2027 for that matter too, quarterback recruiting for Ohio State has 2026 in the middle of two already taken care of players at the helm of their class. The Buckeyes signed in-state phenom Tavien St. Clair in 2025, and currently has Brady Edmunds taking the reins in the early hours of his own class in 2027. Both terrific additions, Ryan Day still needs a 2026 signal caller, and many of the nation’s top guys are already off the market.

Some options still remaining, and Ohio State has offers extended to several 2026 quarterbacks. It’s not out of the possibility to see the Buckeyes try and flip a target of their choice, but on Wednesday plans were made by one of those un-committed players at the position with an Ohio State offer already in hand.

Texas native Bowe Bentley is the No. 123 player nationally and the 10th-best quarterback in the class per the 247Sports Composite. With spring visits in the works, Bentley has five trips in the coming weeks, and that includes seeing Ohio State on March 18.

Ohio State is a Top Contender for Super Georgia D-Lineman Deuce Geralds

Also planning to check in on LSU, Georgia, Florida State, and Georgia Tech, Bentley is making his rounds and weighing all of his options. It’s going to be interesting to see who ends up as the quarterback leader in this current cycle, and Bowe’s name is one to keep an eye on. His visit should paint a pretty clear picture for where the Buckeyes rank for the four-star target.
