Fever Send Message to Lexie Hull After Winning Unrivaled Championship

Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull decided to be a part of the first season of the new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, Unrivaled. And the decision turned out to be a good one.

On Monday night, Hull and Team Rose defeated her Indiana Fever teammate, Aliyah Boston, and Team Vinyl 62-54, becoming the first Unrivaled champions in history.

After shooting 0-of-5 from the field in the semifinal matchup against Team Laces, Team Rose elected to play Hull for just four minutes in the championship game.

She recorded an assist and a turnover. After the game, the Fever took to X to send a message to their guard after becoming an Unrivaled champion. “Lexie Hull and Team Rose are your first-ever @Unrivaledwbb champions. Congrats, Lexie!” the Fever wrote on X.

WNBA fans were also impressed with Hull’s latest accomplishment, taking to social media to leave their thoughts.

“Congrats Lexie. Party tonight, then training begins with Keith Porter. A Fever Championship has a nice ring to it!” one fan said. “Congrats Lexie and great showing Aliyah! Hope you are back in Indy soon and readying up with the Fever team!” added another. “Grats to Lexie, Aliyah was having a great game looking like Fever AB rejecting shots and posting up,” wrote a third. “Congrats Lexie,” commented a fourth. “Lexie Dawg!!!” posted a fifth. “An extra 50k is a nice bonus! Congratulations Lexie!” added a sixth.

In the loss, Boston added 10 points, four rebounds and two blocks in nine minutes off the bench for Team Vinyl. With the win, Hull and her Unrivaled teammates earn a $50,000 bonus, to which Boston responded, “dinner on you maybe?” Hull and Boston now have two months to prepare for the start of the 2025 WNBA regular season, which begins on May 17 for Indiana.

On Tuesday, the WAshington Mystics named former Chicago Sky assistant coach Emre Vatansever and Indiana Fever assistant coach Jessie Miller as assistant coaches.

Caitlin Clark Teases Aliyah Boston After Unrivaled Loss to Fever Teammate Lexie  Hull

Vatansever was an assistant coach for the Sky from 2018-23 where he was on their 2021 WNBA championship team and was their interim head coach and general manager at the end of the 2023 season. Miller was an assistant coach for the Indiana Fever from 2023-24.

Shelley Patterson, who was on the Mystics’ coaching staff in 2024 was transitioned to become the Head of Domestic Scouting. She was an assistant coach for Washington from 2022-24.
