One piece of injury news is good and one is terrible for Peterborough United.
Ricky-Jade Jones should return to action for Peterborough United on Tuesday night against Cheltenham.
Jones rolled his ankle twice during the encounter and had to be helped from the field during the defeat at Portsmouth on September 2.

After injuring his ankle twice during the game, Jones limped out of the defeat to Portsmouth on September 2.

When struggling Cheltenham visit the Weston Homes Stadium, he was previously anticipated to be out for three weeks, but he is recovering faster than predicted. As a result, he is likely to be in the squad.

However, Posh will probably be without David Ajiboye. The wide player entered the game during the second half of Saturday’s draw against Leyton Orient.

He continued to play in the game but did sustain a dead leg, which, according to Ferguson, may prevent him from competing in the Cheltenham encounter.

David suffered a terrible dead leg about 20 minutes into the second half, just as he was gaining pace and posing problems, so he was in doubt, the commentator observed.

But Ricky worked out today so he could play. With those, it can also be like-for-like. Tomorrow, we’ll involve him.

“He does get numerous wounds, especially ankle wounds recently, but he heals swiftly. He has probably finished a week early.

When you play with the pace and dynamism he does, injuries of this nature are likely to occur.

It’s very upsetting for both him and us. He played against Portsmouth, where he was our biggest attacking threat in the first half and scored a fantastic goal before getting hurt once more.

Posh are currently winless in four league games, but they travel to Cheltenham to play a team with just one League One point and no goals this year.
