Kennedy wants a successful EFL Trophy debut.

Mark Kennedy hopes to build on his eight-game unbeaten streak in all competitions by having a successful start to the EFL Trophy season.

Kennedy hopes to maintain the momentum created by the Imps’ unbeaten start to the season by giving a solid performance at Derby County.

It will be a difficult game since Derby will have a pretty strong team, he said. We take cup competitions very seriously, and we’ll travel to Pride Park with the goal of winning.

“We enter every game believing we can win.”

The head coach of City is aware of the difficulty his team will face on Tuesday night, but he is confident in their ability to overcome it.
