Calls for Caitlin Clark, Fever ‘Boycott’ Draw Strong Reaction From Fans

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever drew all sorts of headlines after the WNBA revealed the broadcast schedule for the upcoming season. Considering how Clark has emerged as the face of the league through her unprecedented rise to the top, it came as no surprise that the Fever got the most nationally televised games throughout the season. The majority of fans understand that this is a sensible business move given that Clark and the Fever have the most considerable following in the entire WNBA. Not everyone agrees with the decision, though — and some basketball fans have even been calling for a “boycott” of Clark and the Fever this coming season. The Slows are now planning to “boycott” Indiana Fever games to affect viewership. They really think they matter in the grand scheme of things.

The idea of the boycott has been met with strong reactions from fans across the league. Some have been left in disbelief by the illusion of these boycotters, while others were downright laughing at the mere thought that this small faction of fans thinks that they can impact the WNBA’s viewership with their plans for a protest.
