It\u2019s hard to see a true $20 million a year tackle making it to free agency.<\/p>\n<p>The Dolphins\u00a0signed Armstead\u00a0to a five-year deal for $75 million during the 2022 free-agency period. Over the last two seasons, Armstead\u00a0has missed\u00a011 games due to injuries. The five-time Pro Bowler has never played a full season in his career.<\/p>\n<h2>That Puts a Lot of Pressure on the Jets to Deliver on Draft Day<\/h2>\n<p>If the Jets can\u2019t fill the offensive tackle void in free agency then they\u2019ll have to rely on the draft.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/GettyImages-1891173903-e1708213274700.jpg?quality=65&amp;strip=all&amp;w=780\" alt=\"Robert Saleh, New York Jets\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That can be a dangerous plan as the Jets experienced last year.
