Bournemouth target says he’s ‘open to receiving any type of offer from any country’ – Clearly wants transfer
Bournemouth target Gonzalo Plata has confirmed he is open to a move to England this summer, if the Cherries do go for him.
The winger has been speaking to journalist María José Flores, relayed by Ole, about his future and a potential transfer this summer.
Several reports in Spain have made it clear that the player is looking to move on in the coming weeks after Valladolid were relegated from La Liga last season.
Earlier this month it was stated Bournemouth were willing to pay €8-10m to sign him and follow reports from the beginning of June that they had already sounded out the player about a potential switch to the South Coast.Plata then came out and spoke publicly about his future, insisting that he was open to a potential transfer and would like to return to the topflight in Spain if he could.
That would seemingly have been a blow to Bournemouth, but it appears that is not the case, and he is more than open to moving to England if the offer is there.
“The truth is I am open to receiving any type of offer from any country,” he said.
“Valladolid loves me a lot, I love them the same for how they have treated me. Both they (his club) and I are open to receiving offers.
“From what I have heard, only the yes of Valladolid is missing. Some proposals have been received.”
