The latest transfer news from the MKM Stadium on the eve of the new Championship season
Hull City have agreed a deal to bring teenage winger Bora Aydınlık to the MKM Stadium from Turkish giants Fenerbahce on an initial loan deal.
Aydınlık is yet to make a first-team appearance for Fenerbahce but is highly rated by bosses at the Istanbul-based club and will join up with City’s academy setup at Bishop Burton.
the 18-year-old, who was born in Miami Beach, Florida, joined Fenerbahce at the age of 15 having started out as a left-back at the club’s academy, before moving further the pitch to operate on the left side of midfield, he can also play up front.
Eligible for both the USA and Turkiye, Aydınlık has been called up by the US and has represented the Turkish national team at Under-19 level, playing twice.

Though he’s yet to make a first-team appearance in Istanbul, he was named on the bench for a Europa League game last season and was part of the club’s pre-season training camp.
He’s viewed by City as a player with significant potential and should the loan prove successful, the Tigers will look to make the deal permanent.
Aydınlık is the latest new arrival to City’s academy following in the footsteps of Harry Vaughan who burst onto the first-team scene in April when he made his debut at Blackburn Rovers in the Championship, and more recently, Henry Sandat, who arrived this week.
Striker Sandat arrived from crisis club Southend United and though he has gone into the club’s Under-21 squad managed by Conor Sellars, head coach Liam Rosenior will take a closer look at him in first-team training at Cottingham.
