Rob Edwards appointed as Luton Town manager! | News | Luton Town FC

Luton Town – Another Signing In The Pipeline

Although, in recent days, Luton have secured the services of Marvelous Nakamba and Issa Kabore, it doesn’t look as if their recruitment, this summer, is finished.

Several news sources, including Team Talk are reporting that a deal to sign the Wolverhampton Wanderers player, Ryan Giles, is moving closer to completion.

Indeed, it appears that the Hatters are set to beat Middlesbrough to the signature of the 23-year-old and that a deal will cost the Hatters in the region of £4 million to £5 million.

Giles, who plays as a midfielder/wing-back has spent the last five years, on loan, at a series of clubs but, last season, spent the entire season on loan at Middlesbrough, making 45 appearance

Clearly, the player prefers to make a move to a Premier League club as opposed to another season in the EFL Championship.

Here at Vital Luton Town, we would not be in the least surprised if the deal was announced as having been completed in the next forty-eight hours as Rob Edwards and the recruitment team continue to develop a squad that will make an impact in our first season playing in the Premier League.
