Stoke City set to complete striker transfer in ninth summer arrival
Latest Stoke City transfer news as Alex Neil’s side are reportedly set to complete the signing of Ryan Mmaee from Ferencvaros
Stoke City are set to sign Moroccan striker Ryan Mmaee from Hungarian side Ferencvaros, according to reports.
The 25-year-old will reportedly sign a three-year contract at the bet365 Stadium with the option of an extra year in a deal worth €4million (around £3.4m).
Mmaee would be the Potters’ ninth signing of the summer as manager Alex Neil continues to be backed in the transfer market. Stoke have so far signed Mark Travers, Enda Stevens, Ben Pearson, Michael Rose, Daniel Johnson, André Vidigal, Ki-Jana Hoever and Chiquinho.

The forward has played in a variety of different countries in his career so far, including Belgium, Denmark and Cyprus before arriving at Ferencvaros in July 2021.
He scored 13 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions last season to help his club side win the Hungarian league title.

Mmaee also earned 12 caps for Morocco but missed out on a place in the squad for last year’s World Cup in Qatar, where they became the first African nation to reach the semi-finals.
Stoke play one more pre-season friendly tomorrow (Saturday) against Everton before beginning their 2023/24 Championship campaign the following week on August 5 at home to Rotherham United (kick-off: 3pm).
