The Cardiff City trio who have not travelled to Portugal amid transfer links
The Bluebirds jetted to the Algarve on Monday morning for their pre-season trip
Cardiff City players Romaine Sawyers, Isaak Davies and Max Watters have not travelled with the club on their pre-season tour to the Algarve.
The Bluebirds set off for the Algarve on Monday morning for warm-weather training, a week which will consist of games against Braga on Wednesday and Porto on Saturday.
And we understand the trio have not gone out with the squad to their training base.

It is understood that Sawyers has only recently reported back to training, having played a number of games with the St Kitts and Nevis international team in the Gold Cup. Their last game was on July 3 and he was therefore afforded an extended break.
The midfielder, 31, who played a big part in the Bluebirds’ campaign last season, is set to resume training at the club’s Vale of Glamorgan training base this week.
Watters and Davies have not travelled, however there is transfer interest in both players which likely played its part.
Watters is understood to be the subject on interest transfer interest from Barnsley, who want him back at Oakwell having done well with the League One club on loan last season
Davies, meanwhile, is also the subject of loan interest from League One, with Portsmouth, Charlton Athletic and Oxford United all having been credited with interest.
Cardiff have brought in Yakou Meite, Karlan Grant and Ike Ugbo to challenge Callum Robinson and Kion Etete for those striker berths this season. As a result, it means outgoings are needed.
