Anthony Elanga to leave Manchester United to join Premier League club in £15million deal
Manchester United academy graduate Anthony Elanga is set to join Nottingham Forest for £15million, talkSPORT understands.
The two Premier League sides have agreed a fee for the Swedish winger, who leaves Manchester after nine years with the club.
Fighting off interest from a number of other teams for the 21-year-old, Forest will make Elanga their second signing of the summer.
Steve Cooper is also expected to land the free transfer of London-born Nigeria international Ola Aina from Torino.
The club also remain keen on Man United‘s Dean Henderson, who spent last season on-loan at the City Ground.
The England international goalkeeper made 18 league appearances for Forest last season, but had to contend with Paris Saint-Germain loanee Keylor Navas for minutes in net.
United’s goalkeeper situation has drastically changed in recent weeks with long-term shot-stopper David de Gea released and Andre Onana brought in as a new No.1 from Inter Milan for £43.9m.
Erik ten Hag has continued to refurbish his squad in his second summer transfer window, having made the decision to strip Harry Maguire of the captaincy, with the armband to go to Bruno Fernandes.
Eric Bailly, who spent last season on-loan at Marseille, is another under-used player who could be heading for the exit door, as talkSPORT understands he is in talks with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
