Sean Dyche Confirmed As Everton Manager - GrandOldTeam

EVERTON INTERESTED IN SIGNING RELEGATED £25M STRIKER

Everton could now turn to Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho as they desperately seek new firepower this summer.

Kelechi Iheanacho is of interest to Everton but no approach has been made to Leicester City just yet.

That is according to BBC Sport, who claim that Everton have a ‘mild interest’ in signing Iheanacho this summer.

However, Everton are yet to make an approach as they weigh up their potential striking options this summer.

Iheanacho suffered relegation at the end of last season and is now preparing for life in the Championship.

The Nigerian would surely be tempted by a Premier League return but Everton are seemingly yet to go all-in on a move.

Iheanacho cost Leicester a hefty £25million fee back in 2017 after showing promise at Manchester City.

The 26-year-old has blown hot and cold for Leicester though, scoring 30 times in 150 Premier League games.

Iheanacho clearly has talent and Everton really need attackers, but that goal record may not inspire much confidence.

Everton suffering attacking problems amid Kelechi Iheanacho interest

Everton came into this transfer window desperate needing a number of attacking players to solve their goalscoring problems.

Arnaut Danjuma is in but he can’t do it all on his own and Everton simply must bring in more quality.

Everton want in for a winger with Anthony Elanga wanted, but he snubbed a £15million move to Goodison Park amid alleged concerns about Sean Dyche’s style of play.

Elanga instead joined Nottingham Forest and will be going up against Everton in the new Premier League season.

Everton have also targeted Almeria forward El Bilal Toure, but he has completed a move to Atalanta instead.

The Toffees are suffering real blows in the transfer market and that leaves them to consider option such as Iheanacho.
