Report: Tottenham are willing to pay £56m for 23-year-old Serie A star
SportMediaSet have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs at the front of the queue for Dusan Vlahovic, with the North London club allegedly willing to pay €65m (£55.6m) to take the striker off Juventus’ hands.
The speculation linking Harry Kane with a move to Bayern Munich continues to run rife, with the German club reportedly having submitted an offer of €80m (£68.4m) plus add-ons for the England captain over recent days, which is expected to be turned down by Spurs (CaughtOffside).
If Kane does depart N17, Vlahovic might be the player that Tottenham turn their attention to, with CalcioMercato claiming a couple of weeks ago that the Serbian is on the Lilywhites’ wishlist.
The 23-year-old has not hit the expected heights since his £66.6m switch from Fiorentina 18 months ago, with the striker scoring 14 times across all competitions in his first full season at the Allianz Stadium.
Spurs are willing to spend big on Vlahovic
If SportMediaset’s latest update is to be believed, Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United are all queuing up to snap up Vlahovic.
The report asserts that these three clubs are ‘at the window’ for the centre-forward ‘with an important offer of not less than €65m (£55.6m)’.
The publication adds that Juve are willing to cash in on Vlahovic and have already identified Lille’s Jonathan David as a potential replacement for the former Viola striker if he leaves Turin this summer.

Despite Vlahovic’s struggles at Juve, I am convinced that he will thrive in a different set-up as he has all the attributes that one looks for in modern-day centre-forwards.
If Spurs do lose Kane, I believe the Serb would be a prudent replacement. However, as things stand, the England captain appears likely to stay put.
