Justin Kluivert impressions of Andoni Iraola at Rayo Vallecano
JUSTIN Kluivert is looking forward to meeting up with Cherries’ new boss Andoni Iraola, having scored against his old club just a few months ago
Both men spent last season in La Liga, the Dutchman playing for Valencia and Iraola in charge of Rayo Vallecano.
Rayo finished 11th, while Kluivert’s late penalty earned Valencia a draw against them at the Mestalla towards the end of the campaign.
Discussing Cherries’ new boss, the club’s latest recruit Kluivert told afcbTV: “I guess he knows me very well and I know him also, because I really liked how his team worked.
“He is a great coach, I knew before, and I am happy to be working with him. I can’t wait for that.”
Kluivert is due to join up with his new teammates for pre-season testing tomorrow.
