Al-Nassr ‘not giving up on Wilfried Zaha deal’
l-Nassr are reportedly set to hold further talks with representatives of Crystal Palace striker Wilfried Zaha over a potential move.
The 30-year-old could make a decision on his future in the coming days with his Palace contract set to expire on Friday.
The Eagles are keen to keep hold of one of their club legends and have tabled a significant contract believed to be worth £200,000 a week.
However, Zaha has been attracting interest from a whole host of clubs, who are looking to sign him on a free transfer.
A recent report claimed that French giants Paris Saint-Germain have identified the Ivory Coast international as a prime target.
Marseille and Lazio are also believed to be in the race, but Al-Nassr are seemingly pushing hard to beat the competition.
Zaha initially turned down a proposal from the Saudi Arabian club, but they are not prepared to give up their pursuit.
According to the Daily Mail, Al-Nassr will hold further meetings with Zaha’s agents this week in a bid to convince him to make the move to the Saudi Pro League.
Zaha could become the latest player to join Al-Nassr from the Premier League, following in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined the club earlier this year after leaving Manchester United.
Al-Nassr are also on the verge of signing Morocco international Hakim Ziyech after reaching an agreement with Chelsea.
With Zaha’s future shrouded in uncertainty, Palace have already begun drawing up plans for his potential departure.
They have reportedly identified Wilfried Gnonto as a potential replacement, with the Italy international set to leave Elland Road following Leeds United’s relegation to the Championship.
