West Ham United are being heavily linked with a move to sign Carlos Soler from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
He was actually linked with a move to the London Stadium back in 2022, but he remained with Valencia in the end, before joining PSG just a few weeks later.
And now Carlos Soler is firmly on the West Ham radar once again it seems.
Hammers boss Julen Lopetegui has been a man on a mission this summer, having brought in seven new players already.
That number will almost definitely become eight this morning, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka on the verge of being announced as a new West Ham player.
And even after a deal for the 26-year-old right-back is done, Lopetegui still wants more new signings through the door.
The Hammers boss is said to be ramping up his efforts to sign Soler, and now the Hammers have learned how much money will be needed to prise him away from the Parc des Princes.

The former Valencia man is an incredibly skilled operator with outstanding technical ability, and he has all of the tools needed to succeed in the Premier League with West Ham.
Soler is definitely someone who’s capable of making a major impact at the London Stadium over the next few years.
And now the Hammers owners are fully aware of exactly how much they will have to pay to make a deal for Soler happen.
According to El Desmarque, West Ham are pushing hard to bring the 27-year-old Paris Saint-Germain star to the London Stadium this summer.
It is suggested that Ligue 1 giants PSG want just £17.1 million for Soler – a very reasonable fee in this day and age.
The 14-capped Spain international is a sensational footballer, and he would take us to a whole new level as far as strength in depth is concerned.
He bagged two goals and two assists in 24 Ligue 1 games for PSG last season, but only 12 of those appearances were starts.
Despite playing just 1,089 minutes in the league last season, the Spain international still averaged 30.8 passes per game, and registered a completion rate of 87.5% (Who Scored).
His ability on the ball and cool and composed nature makes him ideally suited to Lopetegui’s system, with the West Ham boss keen for his team to play out from the back and on into midfield.
Carlos Soler would provide great competition and cover for Lucas Paqueta at West Ham, and for just £17.1 million, we really can’t go wrong by signing him.
