Crystal Palace in tussle with 2 clubs for 18-year-old as Offer could be on way with the terms agreed

Crystal Palace are one of the clubs keeping tabs on Hammarby IF’s Bazoumana Touré, according to a report from Sweden.

Earlier this year, Hammarby signed the 18-year-old from Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas, who have a reputation for producing young talents from their country.

He had to wait until April to make his debut for the Swedish club, and has been featuring regularly since then. Touré scored three goals and registered two assists from nine league games so far.

According to Expressen, the winger’s displays for Hammarby have caught the attention of other clubs, including Crystal Palace.

Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt are also in the picture, and the two German clubs, along with the Eagles, have shown ‘great interest’ in the player. It’s claimed the interested parties may make an offer to sign him this summer.
The report adds a few unnamed Belgian clubs have made contact for the youngster, but they wouldn’t be able to afford to buy him.

Touré has a contract at Hammabry lasting until December 2028, and his club wouldn’t be in favour of selling him in this window. They may change their position if there’s an offer from Crystal Palace or another club.

Oliver Glasner’s arrival at Crystal Palace during the second half of last season heralded an upturn in fortunes for the Eagles as they enjoyed a positive end to the campaign.

There were no departures Palace’s backline but there were new arrivals as the virtual Glasner got to work in the transfer market. Firstly, the Eagles boss brought in Tottenham Hotspur full-back Emerson Royal on a season-long loan before making a move to sign Brighton and Hove Albion defender Adam Webster in a £2m deal. The major boost came with Palace resisting bids from Newcastle United and Manchester United for centre-back duo Marc Guehi and Joachim Andersen.
