Chelsea and Spain left-back Marc Cucurella

Two Leicester transfers confirmed, two more to happen in the next 48 hours, hopes also high for a special contract signing

Bobby De Cordova-Reid is, as we earlier reported, confirmed as a new Leicester player. The Jamaican international has signed a three year deal. At the age of 31, that is one grand contract to be signing, as his talk with Fulham broke down earlier on. De Cordova-Reid was a free agent and no fee involved in the move.

Michael Golding is the other player being confirmed as we waited for that to happen, being reported a few days ago from this website. Golding (18) joins from Chelsea for a fee of £4million, said to be part of the deal seeing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall moving the other way.

We are still waiting on Abdul Fatawu and Wilfred Ndidi to be announced, both being out on international duty for their respective countries, Ghana and Nigeria. Fatawu (20) looks 100% certain to be announced and hopefully some sort of confirmation will be given in the next 48 hours.

Talk on different Nigerian websites, reports that the Wilfred Ndidi deal is close to be completed. A number of other clubs have been linked with Ndidi, but none looks to match the terms he has been offered by Leicester. We have seen Barcelona and Galatasaray being linked in the past, but as it stands at the moment, Ndidi is not hot in any link towards those two clubs. Newcastle, Everton, Forest and Aston Villa are Premier Leauge clubs earlier being linked with Ndidi, but that looks a bit in the air. We just have to hope that Wilfred Ndidi will stay on, having a good international record and captaining the national team, as well as being rooted in the Leicester area.

We are also waiting for the arrival of Caleb Okoli, said to have a medical at the club, and hopefully everything will be settled and announced in the next 48 hours. We certainly hope this move goes through after watching Okoli at Frosinone last season. He is a type of player that could fit Premier League perfectly.

Michael Golding is in the building and we do not really understand why Chelsea let this jewel leave. It’s one of those moves you really do not understand, after watching him play, captaining England at different youth levels. The relatively low fee paid for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall might reflect the way the Michael Golding move has been composed.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid (31) looking a good transfer. The Jamaican international is an experienced player at Premier League level and he is used to be playing in a team fighting well in the same frame as we will certainly see Leicester in next season. He will be an important player for Steve Cooper and of course getting a three year deal, he can relax and hopefully be a stable and reliable man in stormy situations.
