£33m Luton and Sheffield United arrivals and £12m Fenerbahce sale – Wolves transfer window predicted

AI predicts the remainder of Wolves’ 2024/25 summer transfer window – and it raises some eyebrows.

Wolves have been proactive in the transfer market but aren’t the finished article.

Gary O’Neil has longed for a striker and he’s got his man after the arrival of Jorgen Strand Larsen. The Norweigan has joined from Celta Vigo on loan but there’s an obligation to buy him next summer for €30m.

The 24-year-old got 13 goals and three assists in 37 La Liga games last season and so there is a hope he can replicate that form in England. His arrival means that Wolves can play with an out and out number nine, with Gary O’Neil now able to play Hwang hee-Chan and Matheus Cunha where he wants them.

Wolves in three-team transfer battle in race to sign £12m target who 'terrifies defenders'

Hwang hee-Chan has been subject of transfer interest. Reports in France had claimed he had agreed terms with Olympique de Marseille, but they were rubbished. Wolves are holding firm on the South Korean international, and O’Neil himself said he doesn’t envisage the forward leaving this summer.

There’s a lot of interest in Pedro Neto though with Spurs strongly linked with the Portugal international. Wolves have already made sold one player for big money this summer and that was Max Kilman going to West Ham. More players might have to be moved on if Wolves are to spend some money again, and there is a desire to find a replacement for Kilman, with several avenues being explored.

Wolves aren’t done in the forward department either apparently. Despite the arrival of Strand Larsen, Che Adams remains a target, and an offer has been made, with the Midlands club awaiting his decision. Serie A side Torino have also registered their interest in the Scotland striker, and that’s something to keep an eye on.

Transfers are unpredictable and things can happen in a flash. As a bit of fun, thanks to OLBG, they’ve gone on to Football Manager 2024 and predicted the outcome of the window. Flick through to see which players sign and who departs.
