Leeds United take on Hull City today with additions to Daniel Farke’s squad primed for their debuts in a white shirt.

Leeds got their Championship campaign up and running with a first win of the season against Sheffield Wednesday last time out.

Like last season’s Hillsborough encounter, Leeds’ rounded performance brought a routine 2-0 win thanks to goals from Brenden Aaronson and Dan James.

Out of Leeds’ new signings, it looks as though Largie Ramazani is most likely to be in place to make his debut, whether it be from the start or as a second-half sub.

After his £10million move from Almeria to Leeds, he was praised by his manager Rubi for how he has conducted himself in joining the Whites and he’s tipped for big things (via Diario De Almeria):

“This has been a mutually beneficial outcome. We recognised his exceptional skills and potential. When we arrived, he was playing in the reserves and lacked game time, yet he had an outstanding debut season in La Liga.

“Now, he is a more developed and established player, and with his contract expiring in a year, this transfer represents a lucrative deal for us. He is a remarkable professional, and I wish him nothing but success in his future endeavours.”

The 23-year-old was spotted in attendance at Hillsborough as fellow attackers Aaronson and James fired Leeds to their first win, with Ramazani ineligible to play after not being registered in time.

Leeds United v Hull City predictions

It would be incredibly harsh to make any tactical changes to the Leeds lineup that brushed Wednesday aside last week, with the only switches to consider based on any injury concerns Farke may have in the buildup.

So, James, Aaronson and Willy Gnonto would have deserved to start behind Mateo Joseph as an incredibly dynamic and fluid attacking trio, whose movement caused untold problems for the Owls.

However, Farke’s latest update on the team shares that James is missing with a hamstring injury, opening the door for Ramazani.

With Ramazani, Leeds have a tremendous option to start in the Welsh winger’s place, offering the same sort of explosive pace.

He’s a player who simply has to start when he’s fit, not only for the money we paid but for the quality that he possesses too.

Whether he starts, or off the bench while Leeds are winning this game or chasing a goal, Ramazani should be making his debut at Elland Road and it’s a very eagerly anticipated outing.
