BIRMINGHAM CITY FORWARD QUINN SIGNS NEW DEAL
Birmingham City forward Lucy Quinn has signed a two-year contract extension with the Barclays Women’s Championship club.
FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from the Blues this evening.
Quinn has spent the last two seasons with Birmingham City. She joined the Blues in summer 2021 after leaving former club Tottenham Hotspur. Quinn is in her second spell with Birmingham City with the player having also represented the Midlands club between 2017 and 2019. In total, Quinn has made 96 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.
Since returning to Birmingham City, Quinn has played a crucial role in the team. She has played in all-but-one of the club’s league fixtures in the last two seasons. The player will have an important role to play again this season with Birmingham City bidding to win promotion back to the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Birmingham City have had an excellent summer so far in terms of their recruitment. Seven players have now signed new deals with the club, those being Siobhan Wilson, Lucy Thomas, Martha Harris, Jade Pennock, Abbi Jenner, Louanne Worsey and Quinn. The club have also made two impressive additions in the form of Ellie Mason and Charlie Devlin.
