Crystal Palace 0-0 Man Utd: Andre Onana and Dean Henderson heroics keep Premier League game goalless| All Football‘Never played like this’ – Oliver Glasner wowed by Crystal Palace player after what he did vs Manchester United

Crystal Palace secured a hard-fought draw against Manchester United on Saturday in the Premier League.

The Eagles were dismal in the first-half of the Selhurst Park encounter as the visitors created plenty of goalscoring opportunities.

Only Dean Henderson’s brilliance in goal kept the scoreline 0-0 until the break.

The 27-year-old turned away Alejandro Garnacho’s strike before making two more vital interventions in quick succession. The England international kept out Matthijs de Ligt’s downward header before denying Lisandro Martinez with his leg.

Manager Oliver Glasner made a few changes at the break and his team were much improved in the second-half.

Ismaila Sarr came close to breaking the deadlock but failed to lift the ball over Andre Onana. Eberechi Eze also couldn’t find the bottom corner after good work from Sarr.

The match ended in a stalemate, but Palace will likely be the happier of the two sides.

Glasner heaped praise on Henderson in his post-match interview, saying the 27-year-old kept them alive in the game.

He told BBC MOTD: “Dean Henderson kept us alive and in the first half we have never played like this.

“I don’t talk about tactics [we played] without courage in and out of possession. Very passive and this is how we don’t want to play, but it happened.

“The chance at the end of the first half gave us some confidence – we spoke very honestly at half-time.

“You can always lose a game, but when you lose it you lose it with how we played in the second half.

“Second half was much better, we could’ve won the game, but honestly it was a bit too much today.

“We have to be critical of us when we play like first half it makes no sense to play like this.”

Crystal Palace are still searching for their first victory this season. They lost their opening two fixtures before suffering draws in their following three games.

However, the Eagles should be happy with the latest result at Selhurst Park as they forced Manchester United to share the spoils.

The Red Devils were the favourites to win on Saturday as they had come into this fixture on the back of an emphatic 7-0 success over Barnsley. But Dean Henderson’s brilliance in goal meant they will head back to Manchester with only a single point.

Dean Henderson delivered a phenomenal performance as Crystal Palace and Manchester United drew 0-0 at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The England international made seven saves against his old club – who Crystal Palace paid £20m to sign him from back in August 2023 – playing a crucial role in Oliver Glasner‘s side securing a point.

It was far from a stress free evening for Dean Henderson – who could be seen angrily shouting one particular instruction to his Crystal Palace teammates during the first half…
